Had no issues with Sky but since moving to Virgin I am having issues. I'm not IT savvy so any help must be simple steps. Also having intermittent issues on another laptop that runs window 10
Any help is appreciated.
I can't connect via wifi as I keep getting error 651.
other laptops and iPad connect ok, also struggling with a laptop with Windows 10.

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. Sorry to hear you can't connect your personal laptop to the Wi-Fi because of the 651 error.
I can see Sololobo has replied to your other thread in the Tech Chatter board.
Have you tried their suggestion?
Has the issue been resolved?
If you continue to have issues then reply back to Sololobo on that thread to see if there are any other tips available.
Can make calls, but no data? Check your "Virgin Mobile APN settings"
I'm sorry Raver62 but I'm afraid I don't know what the 'N' stands for.
If you continue to have issues then please let us (or Sololobo) know as we're here to help.
I've tried all the suggestions and none of them work on my laptops so I cannot get wireless connectivity
I am at my wits end with this, only being able to connect by trailing a cable across the room !!
Help would be appreciated to get my two laptops connected
Still no joy at all nothing seems to help.
I have to be cabled in which is not possible all the time
Cant understand the issue as all was fine when I was with Sky
Have you Googled this? It's usually caused because you have network settings in Windows that override defaults and try to make an Async connection such as PPPoE (which is what you had with Sky).
Had you tried http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/windows-7-can-not-use-wireles... ?
If none of that works, come back to us for step by step analysis.I assume from the tone of your note that it works wired - just the error 651 on WiFi.
Oh - btw, have you updated your wireless drivers? Another common cure for muchof this sort of thing.
Still experinecing this on other laptops now that connect everywhere else
and I have got a clue how to update drivers
