None of the ‘staff’ could fix my problem so referred me here. Ping to router fine, ping to internet dropped packets. Done all the usual resets to no avail. 20+ years network engineer.

Post up your router stats - browse to your hub on  http://192.168.0.1 - don't log in, click Router Status - copy/paste the tables from the Upstream, Downstream and Network Log tabs back to this thread - you'll need multiple posts for this, the info wont all fit into a single one..

Problem Sorted.

Finally got an engineer booked and there was a cabling issue.  All cables changed and connectors in cab changed and all is fine again!
