Re: Does the super hub 3 use different DNS?

Even though the site loads on 2.4Ghz, I get the same results as 5Ghz:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>nslookup scc-solutions.co.uk 194.168.8.100
Server: cache2.service.virginmedia.net
Address: 194.168.8.100

Re: Does the super hub 3 use different DNS?

Just to muddy the waters I use OpenDNS and I get the same timeout issues as yourself.

However if I set nslookup to use Goggle it resolves to 185.151.30.137.

So not just a VM issue.

I suggest you wait and see what happens in 72hrs which is what most people allow for DNS propogation.

Re: Does the super hub 3 use different DNS?

What DNS's are listed in 5G if you do:
ipconfig /all

maybe the hub is doing something odd when connected on 5G for given DNS lookups.

You need to look under DNS Servers

if the hub is doing some odd caching you could try a reboot.

Re: Does the super hub 3 use different DNS?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, was at work yesterday. Seems like the issue has now resolved as the site is working on both now. I even discussed this with my IT Ops guy when I was in the office yesterday and even he didnt understand it either.

This is what I am seeing on both

DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 194.168.4.100
                                              194.168.8.100

I would like to thank everyone for their replies, you have all been very helpful and I do appreciate it.

Thanks

Aaron
