Disconnect between website service status and call centre

adhiren
Dialled in

I currently have no internet service whatsoever however the service status on the website says 'we can' t see any issues affecting... ' Also, specifically for broadband it is telling me' there are no known broadband issues in the... '

After 20min waiting on hold, someone at the call centre is telling me there's a known fault in my area and they are going to raise my issue as well.

Website is still showing no issues. Is there a reason for the disconnect between the service status page online and the call centre?

Don’t use the website:

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150, this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.
