Denon HEOS - network issues

I'm currently trying to use some Denon HEOS multiroom speakers (router is a Superhub 3), but they frequently cut out or drop off the network completely. When they do work, operation through the control app is sluggish and unreliable. Performance is the same whether wired or wireless, and I've tried factory resetting the hub. I've tested them on a different network (with a Superhub 2ac) and they behave perfectly. Is there a compatibility issue here?

Sorry to hear you're having issues with the network.

 

Appreciated that you have tried to use a different network to check what

seems to be the problem on the network.

 

Just want to check, have you tried the hub on both 2.4 and 5 frequency?

For us to check if you are experiencing the same issue on both. You can do this by

accessing your Hub's settings.

The problems persist whether the equipment is hard-wired, on 2.4GHz or 5GHz.

Over wifi, does that mean you have switched off smart wifi and renamed the Hub3's ssid's to separate the 2 networks out?

Yes. I've also tried a third-party wireless AP (Luxul) with wireless entirely bypassed on the Hub3. Irrelevant though, as the problems persist over a wired network.
