DDOS Attacks

Hello, I have recently been dealing with daily DDOS attacks. Is there any possible way I could change my IP address or a thing of this sort. I have no clue what I can do. I am with virgin but I know they provide state IP’s.

Re: DDOS Attacks

IPs are dynamic, not static.

That said, they do stay fixed for a long time.

In my opinion, Virgin Media should not give you a new IP.

This would pass your DDOS issue on to the poor person who gets your IP address.

They don’t deserve your problem.

You need to get this resolved by understanding how you arrived at this situation. Which service are you using where you have upset someone?

Re: DDOS Attacks

I haven't upset anyone. It happens daily, I can't stop it without changing IP. Can you please give me any suggestions on what my next step is, how can I contact them and request an IP change, what should I do?

Re: DDOS Attacks

VM will not change your IP. It’s up to you to resolve.
