Are you in the UK or Ireland?
Last I checked Virgin Media in the UK didn't support IPv6.

I am in Ireland. The router uses IPv6 and Virgin seem to translate an IPv4 address onto outgoing connections.
I want to use the router as a modem and place a router and firewall behind it Apparently the "modem" functionality is only accessible to routers that are placed in IPv4 mode by Virgin.

Hi Loogie,
Sorry to see you are having issues with IPv4 and IPv6.
You would need to ask VM Ireland to set this up for you as unfortunately this community only supports UK VM customers.
