Constantly intermittent wifi

Hi, I have had an engineer come by and change some wires but I still have the problem of intermittent wifi; the wifi slows down, the router reboots and at first displays red wifi lights, then 3 green lights. It then starts after a couple of minutes.

This is on all devices, over wifi, and happens approximately 10-15 times a day at this point.

A principle engineer will be visiting, but this required a lot of talking as everyone on the call centres claims there is no fault.

Here are my logs:

They are saying "no fault" because the Hub stats look fine - however the network logs and BQM tell a different story. When the senior tech arrives make sure you show them the poor BQM and the T3 timeouts in the logs - they shouldnt be there - ask what they propose to do to rectify the issue

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Thank you, will do

Worth doing a quick check that all of your coax cable connections are in nice and "finger" tight - at the Hub and wall box and also at any connectors etc. Ensure there are no “unterminated cable loose ends anywhere. Disconnect all the connections and reconnect to be sure. Also check that the internal wiring is ok with no kinking or chaffing to the insulation, check that all looks good with the outside cabling and wall box - no damage no nails through the cables etc, etc.

UPDATE:
Router was changed but problem is still there, I don't know what is happening
Senior Engineer was a solid guy changed the router and made sure all the power was alright but still problem is there.

Lost for words at this point
here is the new BQM and logs: My Broadband Ping - wifi after router change

Hi @fordxman5

Thanks for keeping us updated on this, did the engineer recognise the issue and check the cables at all or the cabinets?

Did he suggest what to do if the issue occurs again?

Have you also carried out a reboot since the engineer has left just so we can check the issues on our end?

If so, we are more than happy to take a further look into this, but please do let me know.

Thanks

I will write in order what has happened

1st engineer replaced wires, problem persisted

2nd senior engineer changed router, checked every single wire problem persisted, at my house and down the street

He suggested to remove the cctv ethernet wire as this could be causing the problem , I removed it, problem still remains.

That's all I believe
