Constant internet drop outs both WiFi and Ethernet

Up and downstream below. Also started TBB monitoring. Shouldn't be getting these spikes and it's making online gaming a chore.  An engineer has already been and said everything is fine but the problem doesn't arise in the short time he's here. Getting ridiculous now, really need this resolved!

Stats look ok. Due to the time of year VM staff are taking longer to get to post, even normally it can be up to a week. Your best bet is to phone customer services and see if there are any area problems.

Re: Constant internet drop outs both WiFi and Ethernet

There is  similar thread going on in another sub-forum, pasting the same answer here:

".. the connection parameters seems fine, i.e. the same I was seeing before this issue, so I run a continuous ping to the first two IPs visibile when I run a traceroute to bbc.co.uk

Re: Constant internet drop outs both WiFi and Ethernet

Hi zinnkio,

Checking your connection I can see that there have been periods of intermittent FEC on a couple of the upstream channels which may have been the issue.

If the latency issues remain ongoing could you please confirm if this is happening 24/7, or if periodically, the date and time of any drops so we can compare against our network data.

Many thanks
