I'm changing cables I've just changed over too RG6u. I'm unable to get connection. What is the reason.

In which case, you have either used the wrong cable or not fitted the plugs/connectors properly. There is also a non zero chance that you have introduced noise into the system and have compromised your neighbour’s connection - and no it’s not entirely an urban myth, it can and does happen.

You are probably going to have to call VM and book a technician visit, as this is a sort of self-inflicted issue, they’ll charge you £25.

Did you make the cables up yourself? If so, there’s a danger that the it is not cleanly segregated between core and shield. RG6 cable, properly set up, should work fine indoors.

If you have a multimeter you can check that the core and sheath don’t short circuit.
