We have our own account, but the building we live in has a communal Virgin Media.
How do you log on to this ?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forums, davidjill2018,
@lotharmat is right, we would not have any information regarding the communal service in your building. You'd need to the building owner or superintendent to get access details.

There are the WiFi hotspots which are available for use outside the range of your home WiFi, which shows up as 'Virgin Media'
These can be accessed by using the Connect app to set up your device

Good shout by @BenMcr, If you are meaning wifi hotspots, davidjill2018, then the Connect App is what you are looking for.

Access to the internet when our own is down. We live in block with some 250 appartments and have occasion when own broadband is down and unable to access internet. We also have an outside communal roof garden area above the flats where "vigin media" can be found out of reach of our own wifi

Bear in mind that the hotspot has limited speeds. If a number of those residents are all logging on to the hotspot it will be slow and not very reliable.
