Combing TV and WiFi hardware

At the moment our broadband cable enters the house at the front and is connected to our Superhub 3. The TV on the other hand comes in at the side and feeds our TIVO box. I want to move the superhub next to the Tiovo, how difficult is this and can they just use the same cable coming into the house?

Re: Combing TV and WiFi hardware

All you need is a splitter and the correct cables

Re: Combing TV and WiFi hardware

Thanks, is this a splitter on the coax?  And if so that would be a couple of short lengths of terminated coax too I guess. Is this something I source myself or do I go through Virgin?

Re: Combing TV and WiFi hardware

Officially, you go through VM.

Do not under any circumstances use standard coax and splitters.

Re: Combing TV and WiFi hardware

VM does supply a splitter and two lengths of coaxial cable (I think 3m in length) in the Quickstart pack, so no doubt these can be sent to you.
