Cloning large Git repositories always fails

Hi,

This is a very frustrating problem and affects my work. Whenever I try to clone a large Git repo, the following happens:

git clone https://github.com/PSPDFKit/PSPDFKit-Website-Assets
Cloning into 'PSPDFKit-Website-Assets'...
remote: Enumerating objects: 568, done.
remote: Counting objects: 100% (568/568), done.
remote: Compressing objects: 100% (257/257), done.
error: RPC failed; curl 18 transfer closed with outstanding read data remaining
fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly
fatal: early EOF
fatal: index-pack failed

It doesn't matter what computer I use, and I definitely know it is a problem with the router because using mobile data it works without any problem.

Is there a fix for this?

I'm on WiFi, although it seems like it's failing whenever it reaches a certain percentage

Re: Cloning large Git repositories always fails

WiFi is a fickle beast that can be affected by numerous things such as building construction, other electronic devices, neighbouring WiFi basically allsorts.

Try setting up a direct connection using a Cat 5E/6 cable between the Hub and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other items connected.
