Cctv issues with Hub3

I need some help,

ive upgraded to a hub 3 from a hub 2,

my problem is this,  I have a WiFi extender that’s connected to the hub 3,  this extender has a Ethernet cable going into it from my dvr,  this is how I get a internet connection on my dvr so I view the cctv on my phone,

The problem is, when My phones connected to the hub 3 WiFi I can view the cctv without a problem,   Soon as I turn off the WiFi on my phone and just use 4G the cctv it will not connect at all,    I never had a problem what’s so ever with my Hub 2,

why is it I can view the cctv when my phones connected to the hub 3 but not when I’m using 4G,

there has to be a setting on the hub3 that I’m missing or need to set up?

Re: Cctv issues with Hub3

It sounds like you need to implement Port Forward.

Make sure the IP address of the camera is static and then ensure the IP is mapped to the camera's port that it is using.

e.g. 192.168.0.123 7777

When you log on when connected to the camera from your home network see what port number it uses ...

e.g. http://192.168.0.123:7777/index.asp

You can then connect via your external IP (if you don't know it google what is my ip) and then connect via that ..

e.g. http://86.123.78.56:7777/index.asp
