Can connect to the wi-fi but have no internet connection -- Hitron

so the wifi just stopped working earlier this morning. my flatmates and i are all students and have set up virgin media with fused, they sent us a business hitron in case this changes anything.

the problem is that the DS and US lights are blinking green and there is not light for the status. it has been like this for well over 12 hours now. 

we have restarted the router multiple times and the problem is not solved.

we are able to connect to the wifi, but it will say "no internet connection", and as it says i can't use the internet.

what do we do?

check down detector to see if the area is down and try resetting it to factory reset by pushing a pin into the reset button for about 15 seconds or log into the Reuter via the IP to acces the hub.
