Can any one help please

CCTV box connected by ethernet cable not showing on network.

my pod is showing as connected in the app along with my virgin router but no cctv device available

Has it ever worked? In other words, can you see the CCTV picture on any device? Sometimes the Hub misreports what's attached.

Otherwise, please provide model details of both Hub and CCTV unit.

Yes it worked fine before ,I had it set up on a nova mesh set up.

Just with the new option of virgin pods I would switch it over 

 

So, you're trying to connect the CCTV to the Ethernet port of the VM WiFi pod? Right?

Will a laptop or something else wired work when connected to the 'offending' Pod?

Hi yes thats right, unfortunatley my laptop doesnt have a cat 5 port so im unable to check

 

Hey JohnHands73, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community, I am sorry to see you are having some issues with your CCTV.

Have you tried using a different cable to see if it is broken or not?

Have you tried to see if it works on the WIFI connection recently?

Im all sorted now mate thank you, re set my cctv box and it now works as normal
