Booster problems

Hi

recently switched from sky bb to VM and the WiFi speed in the same room as the router is brilliant BUT struggling to get signal upstairs, I purchased a couple of plug in jobby’s (1small & 2big) type but cannot work out how to get them going. I’ve tried using the instructions but still no joy. I’d even tried hard wiring direct from the router to one booster but still cannot get it working, reluctant to have to pay the £8 per month for the best booster but if this is the only solution then so be it.

any advice would really be appreciated

If you cannot get the VM pods for free with your plan they are not a good investment. You would be far better in investing in a mesh system. Other on the board could recommend some and give their price. I have wired WiFi access points so I have no experience of a mesh system to recommend.
