Block websites in hub 5 without turning on 'child safe' mode

Hi, I searched the FAQ and also previous posts but couldn't find what i was looking for; hoping someone can help.

I'm looking to block certain websites but not enable child safe mode on their VM website.
Logging into the hub 5 router page there's no option to add any sites to block.
I tried with OpenDNS too but i then need to change the DNS settings in the router and no option for that either.

is there a way to get into an advanced or engineers menu on the hub 5? if not, how have people gone about doing this network wide?

No the hub don't do that its built to allow the internet.

Most people get a router with 1Gb ports then you can use OpenDNS on it with hub in modem mode

Hi @pratikjha01,

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forums. We're here to help.

If you're looking to block any websites, it'd be best to enable Child Safe mode via your My Virgin Media online account. You won't be able to block specific websites beyond that I'm afraid. Sorry.

Let us know if there's anything more that we can help you with.

Thanks,
