Authentication error on WiFi - Superhub 3

I was having problem as my central heating controller dropped off network and wouldn't see it and even after manually entering details it wouldn't connect to wifi.

On checking my  Superhub 3 I found the following in the log

All my ethernet connected devices were working so I tried a reset of the hub. The network name is visible on wifi devices but none will reconnect and I am getting an authentication error message on them.

I noticed a different thread had suggested changing the wifi password, however the settings page just hangs after entering password and crashes when I click on configuring wi fi network

Was your "reset" a pinhole reset to factory settings ?

Yes it was the factory settings reset from the menu

Odd then that you cant log in.  After holding the pin firmly in for 40 seconds, did you reboot the Hub?  If you did, then try it again and DONT restart the Hub.  Try logging-on on a different device and/or in a different browser - try both the password & passphrase on the sticker.

Hi

 

Logged in on different device and browser. Browser took longer than usual to respond but am now in and wi fi working properly. Have now been able to log the central heating controller back into network as well ThanksSmiley Happy
