Area 22 packet loss and slow upload

Since 5pm today I've had packet loss and slow uplink speeds.  Teams colleagues have reported poor voice quality.

 

Here's a BQM:

router is in modem mode, and I've done all the usual such as reboot hub/modem and router.

Service status reports nothing - is anything going on?

just to quantify slow - download is roughly 300-400Mbps and and upload is 0.09Mbps.

looks ok this morning:

but there are still intermittent fringes of red packet loss.

This looks like classic oversubscription/congestion to me, which is worrying as its never been like this in 4 years - why suddenly now?

Thanks for your post on our Community Forums and I'm sorry to see you've been experiencing packet loss and slow speeds on the upload

 

I've been able to look into the stats of the hub and can see that everything is currently within spec

 

We currently do not see any tickets being raise for over subscription / network congestion.

 

How has the service been since your most recent update?

Thanks very much for looking into this @David_Bn

All looks to be within tolerance as you say.  There has been a tiny amount of packet loss since then, during non-peak times in the day.  Nothing which has affected MS Teams calls though luckily.

There was a funny one last night, but that was latency related:
