Any update on increased upload speeds?

I've seen a few reports here and quite a few reports on the Virgin Media reddit of increased upload speeds for 1gig customers. I even had an engineer telling me about local works for it, which are now completed. 

Has anyone heard anything about it? Any updates? Anyone new got the 110mbps upload speeds yet?

'Soft' rollout has started. Shouldn't be long now before it's more widely available. They don't want to announce until it's been made available to a proportion of the customer base with some of the rest doable with the click of a button.
