Alarm trouble- new to Virgin

I’m a new Virgin customer.

My alarm system has a WiFi signal but won’t connect to the internet. 

Anyone able to make any suggestions on how to fix? My alarm system shows up on my phone but I don’t get any alerts unless I’m in the house.

Was with BT before.

Thats right it will not simply connect to the hub because password is not the same you need to re-setup the alarm system to connect to the hub use the alarm system manual.

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. Sorry to hear that your alarm system has not worked since you've had your new router installed. 

As our valued member @legacy1 has advised, you will need to connect your alarm system to the new routers Wi-Fi. 

Have you managed to so this since your last post?

Has your alarm system now picked up your Virgin Wi-Fi?

So it connects to WiFi but it doesn’t connect to internet. 
It needs internet to connect to our devices for alerts. It’s like having WiFi on your phone but no mobile coverage.
