Hi
Is this normal for the 3.1 channel?
-16.1
Channel ID Lock Status RxMER Data (dB) PLC Power (dBmV) Correcteds (Active Profile) Uncorrectables (Active Profile)
35 | Locked | 33 | -16.1 | 56832906 | 392 |
Seems like it might be off to me?
Thanks.

One thing I have noticed on my Hub4 is that the 3.1 channel is alway considerably lower the the 3.0 channels.

Hi Seph
No attachments to the cable I am afraid.
It's a shame as the engineer was only here yesterday. He must not of tested the levels.
Fortunately the line doesn't seem to be compromised for general use.
Hopefully a Virgin employee will pick this up and get it sorted.
Thanks for the time you spent assisting.

Just to say that the technician (that’s what they - in the plural sense - are) will nearly always test the power levels by plugging his own device into the coax cable. Maybe he didn’t this time.
I would expect the VM bods on the forum to use their remote tools to confirm that you have no DOCSIS 3.1 channel and get the Network Team to sort that’s out quick-smart.

I am on the 1gigabit service.
Speeds seem OK and generally stable.
I will let the powers at be take a look and see what they decide 😂

Hi there @deviousiphone, welcome back to our forum and thanks for your post.
I have done some checks on our end after looking at the stats you posted as something did look out of spec. I will send you a PM to confirm your details and discuss this further.

Thanks for chatting with me via PM @deviousiphone, I'm glad I was able to help you get this issue sorted.
Please let me know how you get on with the tech visit, just a heads up too, someone over the age of 18 must be in the property when the engineer visits. If the appointment is missed there may be a £25 charge added to your account so, if you do need to reschedule or cancel for any reason you can do so via your online account here.
Regards
Nathan
