Hi @BigPeteH

Open a browser and log into your hub 192.168.0.1 - then navigate to the following settings so you can differentiate between the signals.

Advanced Settings > Wireless > Wireless Signal > click on Disable Channel Optimization  at the bottom then  click on Apply Changes.

Now go to Advanced Settings > Wireless > Security > Add a 2 to the end of the 2.4GHz Channel name, then further down add a 5 to the 5 GHz Channel name  and click on Apply Changes.

You can leave the passwords the same as they are.  Then log out of the hub at the top of the page

You will need to reconnect all you Wi-Fi devices some will want to connect to 5Ghz and some to 2.4GHz and some will connect to either.

I had exactly the same Wi-Fi drop out issues which came to light after I added around 12 smart bulbs, 5 smart sockets to the network and echo dots. The network also has 5 power line adapters that connect smart TVs and 4 ring cameras on 2.4ghz. In all there was around 25 devices connecting to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi connection.

To overcome I simply ensured that the hub was allowing 5ghz Wi-Fi connectionsI then changed the name of this network, so I could distinguish between 2.4ghz and 5ghz Wi-Fi networks. I did this by connecting to the hub on 192.168.0.1 and selecting advanced settings, wireless, security.

I then configured all iPhones, iPads, Macs to use the 5ghz network (telling them to forget 2.4ghz network), thus freeing up the 2.4ghz network for the smart bulbs/socket use. All devices now seem to work with no drop outs.
