Cant register for My Virgin Media

I've been trying to register for My Virgin Media since I first ordered my broadband service. Each time I try to enter my details I get an error telling me my information is incorrect. I thought maybe it was because my service hadn't been activated yet, but my connection went live today, and I still can't register. I'm copy and pasting directly from a Virgin email, so I know the info is correct. The account number is 9 digits and I've tried alternative spellings of my surname. I see other threads about this on the forum so it's clearly a known issue. How do I get this sorted?

It can take 24 hours after you go from being live to being able to register a profile.

But the site can also throw up some issues that are not obvious when registering and logging in.

Thanks for your reply. What sort of issues do you mean?

It's been over 24 hours now and I'm still unable to register.

Hi Kath,

I too am experiencing this problem. Would you also be able to message me? 

I cannot find any phone number or chat area that can help me. It may be because of the 24 hour live problem but they did ask me to register so it doesn’t make sense that t wouldn’t be able to work?

Hi im looking for some help setting my virgin  media up, i cant register after i fill all the form in and answer all the security questions, i get redirected to the same page saying some info is missing or incorrectly entered( which ot isnt) 

ps. My service has been set up for over 24 hours
