charged 2 x £3 when still have data allowance

I have been charged £3 on 23/11/17 and £3 on 4/1/18 for exceeding my allowance, but I still have loads of data allowance

Sorry to hear you were charged for exceeding your data allowance, but you don't believe the charges are correct.

Hi Mark no it has not been settled, just spoke to a guy at 789 can I say his name ? He said that I had used my data for those days,I thought that I had a monthly amount of 300 mb, and not a daily allowance.

Hi olly25,

Your data allowance is refreshed monthly. If your inclusive data is 300 mb of data, this is for the entire month and once this has been used up, any further data usage will be charged at £3 a day per 1GB. 

Please view your online bill to view you usage to see where you exceeded your 300 mb allowance. If you would like to check with us about upgrading to a higher data usage allowance, please give us a call on 789 (Freephone from a Virgin Mobile), 150 (Freephone from a Virgin Mobile or Virgin Media landline) or 0345 6000 789 (from any other phone).

Hi as I have said before, I have not used up all my usage, and I have phoned 789 and they said I have used a my daily allowance but could not understand that my allowance is monthly and not daily. I know its only £6 but its my money and it should not have been taken

Hi there olly25, have you been able to log into your online account to see a full breakdown of your bill as this will show the total amount of data used per month.

Yes I have checked my mobile account and there were no  charges before or after theses dates.

The man I spoke called Ling, and he kept saying it was for my daily allowance. I kept telling him that my plan is monthly and not daily, and in the end I gave up and ended the call politely.

Ah ok, I'm not sure why the team would advise this is for the daily allowance.

 

What date do your allowances get refreshed?
