What to do if a Virgin Media account holder has died (Mobile)

We know this may be a difficult time, so we’re here to help.


Give our team a call on 789 from a Virgin Mobile phone or 0345 6000 789* from any other phone.


We’ll arrange for the existing mobile account to be closed and we’ll let you know when this’ll happen.


If possible please have as the following information to hand when you call:


  • The mobile number and the name of the account holder
  • Your relationship to the deceased


You’ll have the option of transferring the mobile number to another mobile account. In order to do this we’ll need to be able to speak to the new account holder.
