Voicemail is not free

I am new to Virgin Media and after having my smartphone use up all my data £5 in a day. Added a £10 jampack and restricted background data...since then all has been okay.


However, when I try to get my answerphone messages from my mobile a lady says 'sorry, you don't have enough credit to make this call right now, don't worry we have options for you; And then goes on to offer facility to top up.  I have over 480 minutes of time left in my allowance so I don't know why I have to top up some more to retrieve my messages??

If anyone can give me a heads up, that would be great!!

Hi Ian,

Thanks for your post on the Community and welcome. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with accessing your voicemail. 

If you are a PAYG customer, you will need to have at least £2 credit on your Top Up Balance in order to access the voicemail service.
