I have had an account with virgin mobile for 3 years. I purchased a new iPhone last December with virgin mobile and paid it in full. Last month the screen was broken so I filed a claim for the first time with insurance I purchase with virgin mobile. They sent me a phone replacement, I then called them tonight to get them to unlock the phone and was told they would not unlock it until I have had it for 12 months. Is there a way to get this phone unlocked ?
Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. Sorry to hear your replacement iPhone is locked.
If the insurance company has provided you with a replacement then sometimes they can unlock it for you. If not, we'd have to manually add the handset to the system that allows us to generate unlock codes. As it was originally purchased from us then I can't see it being a problem.
