I got a new phone today and when I put my existing Virgin SIM card in, no service was found. I put the card back in my old phone and it failed to find service there too. Is the card itself defunct? I’ve tried other sim cards in both devices and they worked fine. I don’t want to lose my phone number

Can I just ask if you have purchased the new handset from ourselves? If not, where have you purchased it from?
Have you received a new SIM card along with the handset in the post, separately?
What handset model do you have?

Hi, thanks for the response. I purchased the handset directly from Samsung. It is a Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. I haven’t received a new SIM as I didn’t think it was necessary, apologies if that is the case!
