Setting up new account - passwords not being accepted

Seagull79
Dialled in

Having changed my package, I have been sent a SIM card for Virgin Mobile.  When I try to set up a mobile account, I put in a password which has all the criteria and the frame of the field turns green and says it is a good password.  However, when I hit submit, I get an error stating:

Please double check your password follows the rules.

Please try again.

I have tried various passwords which all come up as 'Good' without success.

Any way out of this loop?

Thanks

Hi Seagull79,

Thank you for getting in touch with us here on the Community.

I am very sorry to hear you have been experiencing issues when trying to register online.

Have you been able to break the loop and set up the password?

If not, can you please try completing this via a different browser and letting us know how you get on?

Thanks

Nat

Thanks Nat,

I have tried on both Chrome and Edge without success.

The two password fields both have a green tick next to them but I still get an error saying to double check my password follows the rules.

I am really sorry @Seagull79

Have you had any success since posting?

Regards

Lee

Hi Lee,

Just tried again - still getting the same issue. All four fields in the initial form have green ticks as does the register screen but I still just get the error message.

I can send screen shots if needed

Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me @Seagull79

Just for clarification, is this a part of our 'oomph' bundles?

Regards

Lee

Yes it is

Okay I am going to flag this with some colleagues @Seagull79

My account is now showing that I have an Oomph Unlimited Data Sim but I still get the same issue when trying to register for VirginMobile.

Thanks for your reply and update, Seagull79,

Are you able to try again here?  If this hasn't worked, I have also sent you a PM to confirm your mobile account details.

Cheers,

Corey C
