New contract

I moved into a new home about 8 months ago, and it is a shared accommodation. My landlord has virgin media broadband and he pays the bill. I  am totally new to virgin media and want to take out a phone contract, but it came up on check out that, because I have virgin broadband I will get a better deal. But will it effect my land lords bill or link in with his? Or will it effect him in any way or will he even find out?

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post. 

As things stand, unless your shared accommodation is spilt into flats (such as 1, 2, 3 etc) then we are only able to provide one connection.
