I have tried to help my elderly mother cancel her mobile phone account, to no avail. This has been going on for months.
Her old phone 'crashed', so my sister sorted here out with a new one and a new account. Ever since all attempts to close off the old account have been met with obfuscation. Two STAC requests, phone calls to customer services, D/D cancellations always met with yet more bills.
If someone here can help actually close it, then good, otherwise please point me to a customer services address, so this can be put in writing as all online or phone conversations are ignored.

Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with cancelling the account.
Normally we wouldn't be able to assist cancelling accounts over this community site.
But what we will do is take a look into this to see if there is anything we can do to help.
