Iphone 8 order

Well... two week ago I ordered an iPhone 8 plus, got a letter letting me know my direct debit had been set up. It was due to be delivered TODAY, but I’ve had to emails confirming it’s been despatched. They claim it’s next day delivery, if that was the case I’d have had my phone the day after I ordered it. I’m not happy at all, considering cancelling it and going elsewhere. Please tell me I’m not the only one?
