I'm really not impressed with your overseas staff member.

It's one thing to use the RPI as a reason to hike bills - but it's totally ANOTHER to then tell the customer they are lying when they say they didn't get any notification - The agent, when asked to prove when and by what method my missus was notified just asked her what her question was - although he admitted he understood her the first time. 

So now they have annoyed her because she was not notified at all and why would she be calling if she was?

total idiotic bafoons and if this is a cost cutting exercise then well done because it's also a customer one.  The guy was so rude I will be leaving as soon as I can too!

Have a check through the text messages from Virgin Media on your wife's phone, as it is a agreed yearly hike in the contracts - they are usually only sent by text message.

Got mine on the 20th May

"Hi, there are changes coming to your mobile plan. From 1st July 2019 your monthly airtime price will go up by 2.4% in line with Retail Price Index (RPI) inflation. So, for example, a £10 plan will go up by 24p a month. For full details, our online calculator and T&Cs, go to virginmedia.com/julyupdate"

Cheers mate, she never got one - and she keeps all her SMS messages she's one of those types She's ordered a VOXI sim and got her PAC - she said for the £30 ETF VM can shove it where it don't shine
