Contract come to end still getting charged

My contract with virgin was 24 months. 

I was due to stop paying in April this year. However have still been getting charged. I cancelled the direct debit on my online banking now I’m being asked to the bill. I’ve called about 4 times and the moment I mention ending my agreement they hang up. 

I wasn’t this resolved ASAP please. I’ve called twice today and been hung up on both times. 

please help.

Was this for the handset or SIM. 

In the case of the SIM the contract will move to 30 day rolling until you cancel. It does not terminate automatically

It was the mobile finance agreement it was a 24 month contract that ended in April.

I’ll try texting as I’ve waited for over an hour to talk to someone today finally got through mentioned I wanted to cancel and they put the phone down…
