Cancelling monthly mobile contract

I am about to move to another provider and have received a PAC code. Do I also need to cancel my monthly contract or will this happen automatically when I transfer? Tried ringing but nobody answers!!!

Thanks for your post, and welcome back to our Community Forums!

I'm sorry to hear you're looking to leave us and move to a new provider. In regards to your PAC Code, once your new provider enters this and processes the transfer, your Mobile Number will then be deactivated, which, in turn, would cancel the SIM contract.

If you are paying for a Handset, this would not be cancelled and you would need to pay this as normal.
