how do i cancel?

Virgin were meant to install on March 21 but i still don’t have the service.  Every engineer that comes complains about what the last one has done and does something different that doesn’t work.  I phoned and all they could do was propose to send another one out. The last one shouted at me in my own home for 2 hours... 

ive asked to cancel and been put through to cancellations and been on hold for an hour and a half. I have tweeted and been given the number to text which i have and no response. 

How on earth do i cancel and get out of this dreadful experience??

Hi HLG.

That queue sounds awful bless you. You're doing the right thing though in ringing. 

The two ways to cancel are:

▪︎Ring 150 or 0345 454 1111 option 4 then 5.

▪︎Write in.

Good luck on the queue you're in. Hopefully you've got through by now.

thank you for this - i am not able to dial 150 as virgin have not been able to set me up with a working landline thus far.

As you can see from my screenshot i was on hold for an hour and a half yesterday on my mobile when i called the 0345 number - no-one answered so i had to hang up.

Thank you for the address - it looks like i will have to write to virgin to cancel my account which i find deeply ironic given they are a media company. A truly dreadful customer experience!

Hello HLG

Really sorry to hear you have decided to leave us.

Our Retentions Team are a bit busier than expected right now 

Calling would be the quickest way at present 

However due to your previous experience I would not expect you to try again 

We do have alternative contact methods found here

New menu now, it's option 4 then 4 again now 😉

Hi Gareth,

The alternative method you suggested is useless.
Going to https://www.virginmedia.com/shop/leaving.html and trying Chat option doesn't work.

If you choose the thinking of leaving, chat opens - but tells you to ring.
