help with payments if on DWP

Is Virginmedia giving discount to people who are on DWP , The reason I am asking this  because of this article in the Express..

it state that I may be entitle to up-to £150 a year discount if I am receiving one of the said benefits..

Virgin offer the Essential Broadband package  however to qualify for it you must be a current VM customer and in receipt of Universal Credit.

If this doesn't apply to you, and you are a current VM customer then it may be worthwhile calling VM and speaking to retentions (thinking of leaving us) and see if you can negotiate a new deal suitable to your needs.

150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, or  freephone number 0800 052 0422, options 1,1,4 and 4 (thinking of leaving) but best to call between 8am and 10am to avoid call queues, or late afternoon around tea time
