contacting virginmedia

I need to contact customer service regarding my account and a rather important matter, I have tried to speak over the phone but my query is not getting through to them, and I feel that writing my query would be a better communication method. Thanks Joanne

Due to a police matter I can no longer live at the address registered on my account and my new address is not in the area that is covered by cable so I can't transfer my account to that address, I have a crime number and in private messages I would be able to go into further details. When I spoke to an advisor they advised that they could not put a block on the account, I need help with how to proceed
