cannot change phone number in account settings

This is so frustrating and I can see from posts that others have also tried and failed. It is ridiculous! The only thing worse than this website is the Virgin Atlantic website. Can someone help me?

Same here - I cannot change my phone number in account details.

Welcome to the community forums

Sorry to hear you're also experiencing the same issue. We are a ware of that there is an error shown online when trying to change contact details, but have noticed that this error can occur even when the request has been successful. It can take 24hours for the system to update.

Please let us know if the new number has not been updated on your online account after 24hours and we'll investigate further.
