WiFi not working since update

Hello.  Virgin Media did some updates in my area yesterday, which they state they have finished and I have not had WifFi since but have had a flashing green light on my hub for that whole time (I have already rebooted, checked connections etc. several times).

They have booked a technician to come to my home but this is not until 15th December.  This means I am expected to go without WiFi, for which I am still paying and need for work and my children's school work, for a week.  This seems like incredibly poor service, to me, for a problem which, presumably, was caused by the updates Virgin Media made.  At the very least I would think I would be due some form of compensation but what I really want is for my WiFi to be restored.

Does anybody have any advice?

Thank you.

Hi E-3-2-4,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

Very sorry to hear you've had some issues with the connection. We would always aim to arrange the earliest engineer visit possible.

Once the issue has been resolved your account would be reviewed for automatic compensation. You can read more on that here
