Virgin Media account password not recognised, but I haven't changed it!

Hi VM Community,
Is a Virgin Media agent able to look into this for me...
I recently had an email saying I'd succesfully changed my Virgin Media account password, but I didn't actually changed it! Initially, I didn't really think much of it until I tried to log in to my account, but I get a message saying it doesn't recognise my usename or password.
Then, I tried to change my password, and was asked for my mother's maiden name and my D.o.B. but won't recognise them either!
