Re: VM roll out schedule

Hi Kath,

Just been reading this thread, and I cannot see anything for EN5 2BJ. Virgin has been digging up the roads and laying cables for a while now. Do you know when it will go live, and will my postcode be covered?

Thank you in advance.

Re: VM roll out schedule

Hi Sharon468,

Thanks for your patience whilst I looked in to this for you.

The teams have come back to me today to advise:

This area has been built although the property in question is a part of MDU block which is maintained by Cunningham Housing Association (North Ayrshire). We are still awaiting a signed Wayleave permission in order to install. Once we have this we can change the address to serviceable.

This could be good news or bad news. If The Housing association sign the Wayleave then we will be able to offer services however if they don't then you won't be able to get services at your address.

Thanks,

Kath_F

Re: VM roll out schedule

Hi Kath,

The property I'm in is owned by my landlord, is there anything I can do to speed up the process whether it be getting wayleave permission from my landlord or the housing association?

Re: VM roll out schedule

Hi Sharon468 😞

We've already requested it and waiting on a reply.

You could mention it to the Housing Association and your Landlord however the signed Wayleave would need to come from the HA.

It's possible the HA are the ones that own the roads outside 🙂

Thanks,

Hello

My street is being cabled as I write this.  The big question is when will I be able to take on Virgin Media services?  My post code is LS26 0NA.  Hope its soon 🙂
