Hi there, thank you for bringing this to our attention.  Are you able to confirm the street name for me and I will get this reported straight away?

That's great, thank you very much for the additional information.

I have sent this to our cabinet maintenance team to arrange the repair.

Thanks,

Re: VIRGIN STREET BOX LOCK DAMAGED - THEYDON BOIS EPPING

@ModTeam

Can the OP get a chaser on this one?

@Tonyames

from experience with maintainence companies, if you tell them you have made efforts to make safe etc it will give you a lower priority for a fix. If you make it sound worse than it actually is you get higher priority. You telling them it’s been secured with a rope (with everything working fine) tells them it’s an as and when job. For future, it would be in your interest to not disclose what efforts have been done to make something secure / safe to maintainence companies so you get a higher priority.

Hi tonyames,

Sorry to see this has not been rectified.

I will pass this onto the relevant team to get this logged and hopefully we will get this resolved as soon as possible.

Thanks for all you help on this matter.

Re: VIRGIN STREET BOX LOCK DAMAGED - THEYDON BOIS EPPING

Well - It's now the end of May and this was reported in early February. Box tied up by myself with some rope to try to secure it. Total apathy from Virgin. Next will be some kids undoing the rope and messing with the wires and connections inside, causing unecessary annoyance and expense.

Re: VIRGIN STREET BOX LOCK DAMAGED - THEYDON BOIS EPPING

VM seem to have a very relaxed attitude towards street cabinet maintenance. There are various topics on here about cabinets that have been open for months despite repeated escalations by the forum team.

Re: VIRGIN STREET BOX LOCK DAMAGED - THEYDON BOIS EPPING

As I said in my previous post, it’s likely because it has been made safe already that it’s a much much much lower priority.
