Trying to cancel broadband within cooling off period

Over several hours I have tried every Virgin media phone number, live chat and WhatsApp to no avail. I was quoted a 12 month student term but was emailed a contract for 18 months effective December 1. I do not want this term and wish to cancel. I’ve been disconnected and passed around endlessly. Any forum rep who can cancel this for me?

If you wish to give your cancel the account you can do it  by just sending a text with a description of the cancellation to 07533 051809 this will go into a queue, or you can send a letter to Virgin Media, Sunderland, SR43 4AA.
