Tuning in

I received my price increase package email today  I have until 23 March to cancel without early termination charges so I decided to ring and cancelled . I have just received a email saying for your package change . They are going to charge for my landline for the next 9 months @ £27.00 per month. When I rang they said the land line will be transferred to my new provider on the 20 th March I hope this is correct and I don’t get charged

In order to port your landline number, your new provider needs your landline active.

Virgin Media need to process your cancellation but leave your landline active (and paid for) until your new provider take it over.
