Still getting bills despite cancelling services!

PaulGreyhead
On our wavelength

After cancelling all services after my contract ended, I'm still receiving bills!

I expected one bill after the cancellation, and because of payment in advance I expected to get some of that refunded, but I've now had another bill for November!

How can this be, when everything is cancelled?

When was your disconnection date? Has VM given you a 'final bill' (after disconnection)?

You are billed by VM as per normal right up until your disconnection date. Depending on when your direct debit date falls and the billing period, this may mean you get a regular bill during your 30 day notice period. After disconnection, you get a final bill. If you are in debit, you pay that off and leave VM. If you are in credit, VM send you a cheque for the balance.

Hi @PaulGreyhead thanks for your post although I'm sorry to hear of your concerns raised here.

How did you cancel with us please, was this over the phone or on a webchat for example?

Can you advise when this was just in case there's a crossover with the 30-day cancellation?

Many thanks
