Sent a letter to cancel

Hello. 

I tried to call virgin to cancel but they kept hanging up and alike.

I have sent a letter to cancel. Via recorded delivery.  Does anyone know it takes for virgin to reply and confirm receipt? Or how they confirm?

when requesting to cancel process takes 30 days, so time it takes to read the mail could be looking at 2 months for account to be closed.. to see if account is in process of cancellation could have a chat with customer relations choosing option 1-5-4 (thinking of leaving us).. if not yet requested can request..

I have flagged to forum moderators (@ModTeam) for clarification because AFAIK the 30 day notice period starts from when Virgin Media receive the letter.

@username52 , I am so sorry to hear you have had issues getting through. If you want to try again they are open til 10pm and can be contacted via 150 or 0345 454 1111

It's option 4 then option 5 to arrange this.
