Save money if I opt to downgrade my broadband speed?

Am out of contract and currently on M100 package which I pay £54 for.  I need to start saving money somehow.   Has anyone found reducing their broadband speed has made much difference?

yes when I click the link it asks for my postcode and then tells me to contact them too. And when I contacted them I as told that there were no deals better than mine and that also there were no deals if I wanted to reduce my services. 

So if you want to know the price I think that £65 is the minimum deal Virgin offer for any package
